Description

The database “Flora of the Central European Russia” (Zaugol’nova and Khanina 1996) was developed for generalization of taxonomic lists of vascular plants used in central regions of European Russia. The database includes a list of 2365 vascular plants occurred in the Moscow and adjacent regions. Species names and their taxonomy are given according to Cherepanov (1995). Some species traits are listed according to reports by various authors (Meusel et al., 1965; Landolt, 1977; Grime, 1979; Tsyganov, 1985; Ellenberg et al., 1991). Original ecological-coenotic classification of species is presented (Smirnova et al., 2004). 125 literary sources were used for creation of the database including local flora checklists and lists of Natural Reserves. List of references (in Russian) is available from http://www.impb.ru/eco/lit.php Here we published only species checklist of the database, but additional information about ecology of individual species available from web interface http://www.impb.ru/eco/index.php

Data Records

The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 2,365 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Versions

The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
