Description

Ground beetles that have been confirmed to occur to date in the southern Kuril Islands (The Kunashir Island and the neighboring islands of the Lesser Kuril Chain), Russian Far East. The present study was based on the material we collected on Kunashir, Shikotan, Polonskogo, Yurii, and Tanfil’eva islands in 1990, 2008, 2009, and 2011–2018, as well as the collections of the Federal Scientific Center of East Asia Terrestrial Biodiversity, the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Science, Vladivostok, the Moscow Pedagogical State University, Moscow, and the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Saint Petersburg.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 5,806 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
