Descrição
The dataset contains information on occurrence records of Amphibians in West Siberia (Russia). The designated study area limited on the South by the administrative border of Russian Federation, by the Arctic ocean shore on the North, by foothills of eastern slope of Ural mountains on the West, and by the Yenisey river and administrative borders of Khakassia Republic and Altai Republic on the East. Original field surveys data, available scientific literature, museum collections, personal reports and iNaturalist (https://www.inaturalist.org) observations were used to arrange the database. Data on specimens stored in the herpetological collections of the following museums were used: Zoological Museum of Moscow State University (ZMMU), Zoological Museum of Tomsk State University (TSU), Institute of Systematics and Ecology of Animals, Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences (ISEA). We also used data from the «Zoomonitor» database by the Zoomonitoring laboratory of Institute of Systematics and Ecology of Animals, Siberian Branch of RAS. The database contains 2530 records for 11 species, representing seven genera, five families, and two orders of Amphibia.
